At the Crossroads

You don't get to choose how you're going to die. Or when. You can only decide how you're going to live. Now. --Joan Baez When men and women agree,it is only in their conclusions;their reasons are always different

Defending the Indefensible

The Congress party of India is busy doing just this- defending the indefensible.

The President of India is the head of state and first citizen of India and the Supreme Commander of the Indian armed forces ,Wow!!. Given the opportunity to become the President of India, who would wanna let go of it. Though the past Presidents have hardly done anything noticeable, atleast they got their names registered in history books.

The recent Presidential elections has brought to light the sad aspect of Indian politics. Mrs. Sonia Gandhi's administrtation is replete with the largest gathering of narcissists and sycophants. Its quite obvious that it is solely Mrs.Gandhi's decision to project Mrs.Prathiba Patil as the UPA candiadte. To an onlooker Mrs.Gandhi and Mrs.Patil would appear as best buddies ever (they were seen walking hand-in-hand) . Well, Mrs.Gandhi's intentions are clear to me as much it is to the nation. After having successfully appointed a puppet Prime Minister, wouldnt she want a President of her choice. Wonderful way to display her authority and power.

An insight into the prospective Prez's life

The data furnished here are taken from the Internet and newspapers.

Apparently, Mrs.Prathiba Patil is very much a part of the corrupt bandwagon of Indian politicians. Her brother is a murder accused and her husband is said to have pushed an employee to suicide. What a family!!! And Mrs.Patil , as heard last, is accused of having amassed several crores by duping hapless investors. And yes, her statements are already making news . She hurt the sentiments of the Muslim community by commenting on the Purdah System(secular!!) . The next was astoundingly hilarious- apparently, a long dead baba reappeared to tip her off on her impending political career. The insensible Left has also agreed to support Mrs.Patil's candidature.

I appreciate Mrs.Gandhi's efforts in identifying such an able contender, and thankful to her for not projecting an Italian mafia guy for the Prez's post. She completely lacks the sense of belonging to this nation. The least she can do is dump Mrs.Patil and look for a more suitable candidate. For it wont take long before the indefensible Mrs.Patil can be ousted by means of impeachment.

    Impossible says Im possible :p

on a serious not, i dont think she is worth it.I am certainly not in favour of a tainted President. It will be better if she backs out. And same is the case with Sonia Gandhi.

    @ anon

You must think twice before making such loose statements. Now that u have made it, am sure i wont let go off u easily.

To begin with, i strongly believe that u either completely blind or dont understand english. I have neve rmade any statements supporting whosoever u have mentioned.
And if u think i ever did, show me where, if u dare to.

And being biased does mot make one mad.. Hope u have a little brain in that head of urs to understand this. Though am unsure of ur intentions, i think u either trying to seek attention or u being extremely foolish. And yes, check on ur spelling, a dictionary will certainly help.

whats with the tough language fella.. take a hike.. anyway.. to comment on the article - I have a personal belief that she has no charisma or quality to be the president and the congress has just picked a candidate who would say yes to every bill they pass.. Looks like it might work for them that way..
