Cheeni Kum Vs Chennai:28

Cheeni Kum and Chennai:28? well, they are movie names. The former, an overrated Hindi movie which claims to offer a lot (lot of what?) and the latter a simple, hilarious and fun Tamil movie starring a bunch of unknown yet talented actors. And for once i liked a Tamil movie over Hindi. Though i liked Amithab in Nishabdh, i could not stand him one bit in this extremely drab, annoyingly slow and meaningless flick. It is a yawner and the slick humour is disgusting - the one on umbrella, yuck. Tabu with her charm and sophistication is good as always and perhaps the only thing worth watching. Certain things remain unanswered and keeps the audience wondering. Why shud a 34 yr old fall for a 64 year old still remains a mystery to me.Well, there r a million reasons the director could have used to explain the attraction. All in all, a bad movie. Chennai28 is a neat flick. If u lookin for some fun and laughter go for it, provided u understand tamil. I bet this one wont disappoint you.

ok someone here has bad taste. The movie was good fun, the first half was really great - good humor - which may take time to understand and thats why maybe annoying to who did not follow. Be honest and tell everyone, that you did not laugh one bit there. The second half is saddu, and they wasted Paresh Rawal's talent. Some scenes which were really nice - Chacha ko durex chaiheye. The comments before that were also really cool. The other thing which i liked, was after Amitabh touches Tabu's hand, she ask's him to run to the tree, really cool. Havent seen the tamil movie, will watch it and add more. 34 and 64 shouldn't be an issue, cos they just like each other and btw Tabu did an acid test to check the stamina, so she is happy, why dont u get it then :D
