At the Crossroads

You don't get to choose how you're going to die. Or when. You can only decide how you're going to live. Now. --Joan Baez When men and women agree,it is only in their conclusions;their reasons are always different

Care to listen??

This post is a grievance report. Does America have something like, Grievance Redressal Mechanism. They certainly do, but not for the kind of problems i have. This place has the best of restaurants (visually appealing) that serve over-priced and insipid food. The food is not just bland and tasteless but also fattening and time-consuming (munch munch..aah, am tired munching!!). Besides, i dont seem to understand how one variety of sandwich differs from the other - Mozzarella and BBQ, all taste the same - sad and bland . Also they serve all kinda meat and chicken is not meat . And chicken burger contains bacon, bacon sauce and eveyrthing thats bacon and very little Chicken. Drives me crazy!! All i want is a chicken sandwhich that has chicken, cheese and bread. Mom is gonna freak out if she ever reads this. I crave for idlees and dosas and sambhar and chettinad chicken and gulab jamun and filter coffee and.. I absolutely envy the married men here. They all have their wives to cook them home food. I am plannin to have lunch at an Indian restauarant tomorrow. I dont wanna have big hopes, its in America after all :(

I feel so unconnected. No newspapers, no magazines, no tv. High time i subscribe to the local newspaper. Despite all this, i love the fact that i am on my own. I am living life the way i want to.

I like the food here, especially bacon strips and steak. And when I go to the West Coast (the Bay area), I eat seafood (the seafood there is awesome for obvious reasons) :-)
