At the Crossroads

You don't get to choose how you're going to die. Or when. You can only decide how you're going to live. Now. --Joan Baez When men and women agree,it is only in their conclusions;their reasons are always different

Belated Birthday!!!

Its been a year since i started blogging. It did not bring in any significant changes in my life but it ceratinly kept me busy when i was utterly jobless and needed to do something to keep me occupied and also served as a medium to voice my opinion on several issues, and considering the fact that i am a lousy blogger, my sincere apologies to my beloved blog. It might sound like am bragging , but i have figured that there are people who would kill to know wats happening in my life and my blog has certainly provided significant insights of the happenings of my life.

Over a year now and this space of mine has been a neat companion all along and i pledge to be faithful to it :p.. The idea of blogging did not seem alluring initially, but once i got into it i loved it, absolutely.Lifez treating me pretty good now and am hoping for better times ahead and every bit of it will be posted here. With temperatures soaring all across the world and glaciers melting ,hyped plastic-icons wedding, and my eventful life - there is no derth of news and stuff to blog.

Thanks to all!!!

My Own Space

Last week IndiaToday had this brilliant article on modern Indian woman. It said that todays' woman is independent, ambitious, unafraid, richer and better educated than ever before. It also featured a couple of very successful woman and how they manage to strike a balance between their personal and perofessinal life.Model, beautician, journalist, actress, lawyer, s/w professional,economist.. woman seem ubiquitous, present everywhere.I am proud to be a part of the ever growing gang-of-girls :) Some had brilliantly answered the questions thrown at them.

About me :p

A typical day: Day begins at 9 or 10 in the morning. A glimse of lord Hanuman, followed by the morning tasks and then newspapaer reading. Bully sisters for a while and have a constructive discussion with dad, ranging from investment to the erratic stockmarket to politics.Routine catching up with frens followed by some serious studying :p.Pack bags and rush to office and work like a responsible software engineer. I believe in survival of the fittest.Back home at close to midnight followed by watching news(son butchered father types..gross) and an hour of e-mails.Spend some quality time with my bed-time companion-recently being one by p.g.wodehouse.

Significant others - Loving Mother,Supportive dad,Cute sisters and obviously God:)

If i were a man: How about world war -3?? and blame it on a woman(I did watch Troy).

Darkest Moment as a woman: Nothing much as yet.I did not like it when i gotta know that mom was sobbing inconsolably when i was born.I love her lots, so no issues. Also this one incident way back in school, when i chose to travel by public transport to accompany my frens.A jerk taking advantage of the packed bus put his arms around me.My heart skipped a beat.Pretty bad huh!!

Worst Cliche: Half the things are automatically done for a pretty woman.(got this one from the magazine).I have heard this a million times from different people. All u people please grow up!!!

I hope i feature in one of the magazines someday.Well, this is my space and here it is, all about me.I have a long way to go, loads a things to do and achieve. This blog is for all my lovely frens who have been a constant source of support to me.I love u all!! And yes, being a woman is the best thing to have happened to me, only next to my mother...
