Winner all the way!!!

If i were to describe Mani Ratnam's latest flick in one word,it would be "AMAZING".I thoroughly enjoyed it.I have always loved watching ManiRatnam movies. They are not jus sensible and entertaining but also tugs at your heart strings, leaves behind a long-lasting impression. For someone like Abhishek Bachan,it must have been the biggest break of his life.I have never quite considered Abhishek a good actor , he simply cannot act for nuts.Besides acting,an actor should also be good at various other
things,expression,dance...He certainly lacks the versatility of his father and his contemporaries.Nevertheless,he has done a decent job and desereves to be appreciated.

The rest of the cast has done a great job,Ash,Mithun and Madhavan.Vidya Balan is wasted and her presence is highly unneeded, all shez gotta do is move around on a wheel-chair and deliver some extremely meaningless dialogues and lock lips with maddy.

Its based on the life of Late DhiruBhai Ambani, and it provides an insight of the life of a man whose passion to make it big in life was beyond anything. The supposedly 5 mins speech that Guru delivers towards the end is a little drag and highly unwarranted and also makes very little sense, why does he have to bring in Bapu and what was he trying? justifying his position or stating that some amount of corruption is acceptable, and also the one abt begging to the world bank for money to lay roads.Something went badly amiss toward the end and it ended on a low note.

All in all a good movie and definitely worth a watch.Highly inspiring as well..Considering the fact that my hit counter is increasing at a good pace,i have decided to blog regularly and i plan to put some real interesting stuff :p

Till then
Ciao
